About Javier
I am currently a DELE examiner (intermediate and advanced levels) certified by the Cervantes Institute and work as a Spanish teacher in Europe, based in Poland, with more than five years of experience, from where I have taught classes to students from all over the world world in person and remotely: South Korea, Italy, Türkiye, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, India, England, Ireland, South Africa, Hungary, the United States and Poland. Here’s a little more about me: I have a degree in Pedagogy and Curriculum Planning from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. I began my dedication to teaching Spanish when I was still in college, working part-time as a coach Spanish online for the Universities of Kansas City, Missouri and Tennessee, as well as for the Colleges of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; San Jacinto, California; Danville, Virginia and Reno in Snowfall. I graduated with a master’s degree in Spanish philology, and I’ve been passionate about the language itself, Spain and Latin American countries for more than 13 years. Daily contact with natives from Spain and LATAM allows me to develop my language skills and passion for Hispanic culture, which I enjoy sharing with my students. I’ve participated in Spanish teacher training courses in Spain that helped me to gain diverse
knowledge in language methodology. I’m certified as a teacher preparing for the SIELE exam. Moreover, I’m constantly developing my competence by taking part in workshops and conferences for Hispanists. Since 2019, I’ve been teaching 1:1 classes, in pairs and in larger groups. My students range from 6 to 70+ years old which provides me with a broad knowledge of the languages needs of students at any age that I can convert into preparing effectives lessons for them.
